I got to be honest tho, Tanzania is developing fast, credit where due. And it is a good thing. But Kenya has the upper hand here, since it decentralized the government system. Counties are like their own small countries, and the central government is concentrating on developing the infrastructure zaidi. Even marginalised counties zimechange in those 4 few years. the problem with Dar is that it has poor planning....yaani CBD wamechanganya na residential places na pia open air markets..Dar ni mahali utamwona mwenye suti pia utamwona jamaa anayeuza samaki, tena utamwona jamaa aliyetoka tu kupiga mswaki ama kupiga story na mabeshte...hawana order kule ni kama tu Githurai....wakati Nairobi CBD ni pahala pa kazi peke yake na ukitaka residential unatoka kabisa maeneo ya CBD...In Dar, its like having Kasarani residential area right next to KICC and Times Towers...

In Nairobi CBD you will never find apartments za ufala kama hizo za Kariakoo...the only apartments near CBD are very expensive...In the CBD, kama si office spaces ni hotels na stores...imagine having those Kariakoo-like apartments near these skyscrapers? how weird?
