Kumbe I'm engaging a cow na sijui. Cardiovascular dysfunction is not hypertension but it's one of the causes of hypertension. When blood vessels become constricted, the lumen will become narrow making the blood to force itself through. For heart to overcome this struggle, it will increase the force and speed of pumping hence high pressure. That's how hypertension comes about.

Whenever your discussing about the pathophysiology of hypertension don't forget inappropriate activation of the hormones that regulate water and salt excretion by the kidney,impared renal pressure induces hypertension
