Toll gates za Nairobi Expressway is not built on the actual expressway but kando kando where there are exists and entries.

Dar es salaam kuna barabara nyingi za kutoka na kuingia mjini hivyo elevated expressway sio requirement yetu kwa sasa unlike Nairobi you only have Mombasa road ndio main artery yenu ya kutoka na kuingia mjini.

Kwa hivyo unataka kutudanganya kwamba hakuna traffic jam huko Dar es Salaam? Interchange kazi yake ni kupunguza traffic jam na ndio maana pia nyinyi mnastahili kuanza kuzijenga ili kupunguza jam. Interchange inazuia mkusanyiko wa magari katika junctions au katika round-abouts. Mkijenga interchange basi mtaondoa round-abouts zenu. Kitu kimoja ambacho interchange inafanya ni kwamba gari haipunguzi speed inapofika kwenye junction, gari inapanda viaduct (barabara ya juu) na kuendelea na safari, halafu gari za chini nazo zinaendelea na safari bila kupunguza speed.

Tatizo la kujenga expressway ni kwamba inahitaji interchange zijengwe katika kila junction na ndio maana inaitwa expressway kwa sababu hakuna kupunguza speed ili kupisha magari kwenye junction au kwenye round-abouts. Ila ujenzi wa interchange ni very expensive kwa sababu inahitaji ujenzi wa interchange katika kila junction.

Express and expressway ni vitu viwili tofauti. Hata baiskeli inaezakuwa express.
