Westlands just as the name suggests is the land on the west of Kenya's capital Nairobi. The lavish hood is located off the busy Nairobi gateway, Waiyaki way, and home of famous Westgate mall, Sarit center and the mall.

A mention of westlands ignites a thought of a high end area that hosts prominent business and personalities.

The area also has apartments and business units for rentals and also boasts if hosting Kenya's leading and regional companies for instance safaricom. Additionally westlands also has a number of high end hotels, with five start status which among many hosts big conferences and international guests.
However besides the appraisals linked to the area, westlands has a huge underlying problems that only it's residents come to terms with.

Scarcity of water in the rich end has affected many homes and offices forcing some to vacate to more dependable places.

Coupling to the water scarcity is poor drainage which has affected the neighborhood. Bursting sewerage systems and overflowing sewerage has coated its occupants a fortune.
If you want to face the wrath of Westlands visit it during rainy seasons, you will appreciate your hood.
