US debt is currently 38 trillón dollars ( Ouch!)… and 75% of it is domestic. ( I own US debt through my Treasury bonds)… that’s same trajectory as Kenya. And that’s why Kenya will never collapse economically except for the domestic challenges or slow growth because domestic borrowing stimulates growth if not stolen under corruption. The difference between Kenya and Tanzania is the auctioneer hammer … Tanzania is at risk while Kenya is not.
