Amnesty International is not a Kenyan NGO. It is a global NGO headquartered in London. I don't see how Amnesty supporting Tanzanian activists is Kenya's problem. Furthermore, the core issue here is the sham election and human rights violations. Blaming the activists is missing the point. Global NGOs will fund dissidents in any country that violates human rights and rigs elections. Africa in particular is undergoing a revolution and we are going to see more of these unrests in countries that have tradionally not been known to have political unrests - even the docile Cameroonians this time were up in arms. Are you going to blame Kenya for that too?

Uganda will likely face similar turmoil in its next election—the signs are already there. This isn’t foreign interference; it’s a natural response to injustice. People can only endure oppression for so long before resistance becomes inevitable. Tanzanians must begin to take responsibility for their internal failures instead of externalizing blame onto neighboring countries.
