What we are trying to tell you is that the quantities are so negligible to make any significant contribution in the country's foreign exchange na economy in general. I wonder how gold worth less than a billion shillings is supposed to help our economy if we were to depend on it. That is way below even what the country gets from remittances from abroad.

reasoning is that when tourists come to view the mountain via the Kenyan side , it's Kenya tourism sector that benefits and the mountain is tanzanias while the government of Tanzania don't benefit or earn any income. tourists who want to view the mountain should enter Tanzania, pay visas and other related charges then view the mountain.

Don’t take Trump words literally. Also American foreign policy revolves around who’s the occupant at the White House. In 3 years time, a new President will be sworn in and we are back to square one. But regardless of what President Trump said, Kenya and US military relations remain stronger than ever. As we speak, there is a massive expansion going on in Camp Simba with a new runway being built to accommodate biggest military planes plus new logistics buildings. The project has not stopped despite Trump’s speech. When it’s done , it will become the biggest joint US base in sub Saharan Africa . So there you have it.
