But regardless of what President Trump said, Kenya and US military relations remain stronger than ever. As we speak, there is a massive expansion going on in Camp Simba with a new runway being built to accommodate biggest military planes plus new logistics buildings. The project has not stopped despite Trump’s speech. When it’s done , it will become the biggest joint US base in sub Saharan Africa . So there you have it.
