Was talking of Freight, not passenger service., hiyo haina faida ya kurudisha ata 20% of the loans in a year., passenger ni service serikali inawapea, at a cost of course to maintain the staff and run operations tu., uchumi wa SGR ni Freight kilaza.,

Kwani purposes ya Tanzania sgr ni passengers tu? Huwez sema kuwa passengers hawawez kuwa na faida wakati nchi kama Japan mashirika ya treni yanatengeneza faida sana tu.
Purpose ya sgr Tanzania ni kwa ajili ya mizigo hasa mizigo ya nickel kule kigoma na msongati Burundi na mizigo ya kutoka dar port kwenda drc,Burundi,Rwanda na kidogo Uganda .


Burundi is planning to produce approximately 2 million tonnes of nickel ore annually, with nickel accounting for 39% of the Musongati mine's revenue. The Musongati deposit is estimated to contain 150 million tons of nickel. While exploration is ongoing and commercially viable deposits are yet to be confirmed, Burundi has the potential for a world-class nickel mine.

Akipata maumivu zaidi apitie hapa. Bado hatujaongelea DRC hapo. Kenya hapo wanachoweza ni kupiga kelele kwenye Mitandao.
