I think it’s obvious what happens when there is a traffic disruption of an already busy intersection. Traffic flow especially during peak hours, westbound, eastbound, to and from CBD/Upperhill… it’s the whole reason why the expressway was built in the first place

But you seem to think both roads serve the same purposes… they don’t. Especially at that intersection, the two are mutually exclusive. The expressway merely eases eastbound and westbound traffic traversing the CBD. It’s like the bypasses but allowing mergers to and fro the city, and therefore the two cannot have same traffic flow

Do You really believe what you said? A whole project for aesthetics of the city? Do yourself a favor,Just pull up google maps and check how many feeder roads pour traffic on Uhuru H/way within a 2km radius from where that video is taken. haile sellasie,Kenyatta Ave, Bunyala Rd, Lusaka rd, Langata rd, Douglas wakiihuri etc. all these roads do not interact with the expressway at all. And this is the same case for the whole stretch of Uhuru H/way, waiyaki way and mombasa road or the A104 where the expressway passes.
