For a city to be a city you have to plan, some plans take time to come up with right criteria for doing every single thing, planning gives allowance for hundreds of years to come.
Now have you looked up Dar city on Google maps? You will think it was built by homo habilis who had no particular order/pattern in planning. Now picture 50 years from now, how will the city look like.
Do yourselves a favour, just Google anywhere in nairobi,including kibera, githurai, eastlands and all those areas you think are slums & make the images satellite to be clear. And go back to Daresaalam, the entire city.... And keep quiet coz you will come to a certain realisation.
