Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Ata mkihate kiko kenya na Kenya used to finance most of EAC things coz Uganda and Tanzania were shite back then. So acheni salt

Yeah kinda noticed that, but Kenya was still better. Then they Kenya opened the gap somehow. Noticed Kenya overtook Ethiopia back then

Kwanza nimekuheshimu nimeongea lugha yako ... Hata kusoma hujataka! Sio vizuri...
Na sidhani kama nimegusia suala zima la ninyi kupigana! Huku kwetu tunasema wapendano/ndugu wakigombana... Shika jembe ukalime... Na wakipatana ..nenda ukavune...

You are brothers and sisters .. Your fight is your fight...but you can't be in our faces about Kenya ..Development while you have over 40% living in poverty... We have les than 24%... How is that even helpfull?

Mnasifiwa na watu wanawang'onga... Wanawapaka mafuta kwa mgongo wa chupa... A good chunk of what you think is urs makes it way outside your country... And you here celebrating...
Hmm, this begs to differ with your account. Tz at 55m ppl has almost as many poor ppl as China at 1.6bn ppl

Our countries have always been more or less the same economically, even though Kenya has been following capitalism model of development since day one. It's just that, in capitalism everything is open for everyone to see and measure (shining buildings, roads, cars, malls etc). In socialism, investment is done by 'people first' idea kind of economy, in which, it's achievement can't be readily quantified.

You mentioned about Ethiopia but forgetting that in the eighties Kenyan economy was also in it's knees, so bad to the point that President Moi had to remove one zero from the currency. So my point still holds that our countries economy are not that much different.

Wast born back in the 80s. But Moi really screwed our country, in the 24 years he was with us we technically achieved nothing. In 2001 akitoka our gdp was 12,99B na yenu was 10,38B. Despite your socialism we made very little growth coz all he did was loot and loot and loot, we were very poor back then but he made sure food was cheap. Cheap food = support by the citizens. It was after Kibaki we made that huuuuuuge growth and a lot of development happened. If we had a Kibaki in the 24 years Moi was in power, we would be a 200b plus economy tbh, but better late than never. Uhuru has been okay but they steal too much tho. Your socialism kinda helped coz the % of poor people I guess is smaller than that of Kenya. Our capitalist made a huge gap ya rich na the middle class na the poor

You are absolutely right on that one, in the eighties corruption in Kenya was on a par with Nigeria.

Now this guy thinks a city is only defined by skyscrapers, hii ni ubaya ya ushamba.
Google Manchester UK, or Detroit, the largest part of New York city itself is not made up of skyscrapers apart from the city centre. Even London itself has no skyscrapers outside it's city centre. See your life
Kila city kubwa wanaaangalia majengo
