Umesoma hiyo hukumu ya Hoyce? Unadhani hizo tuhuma ni grounds zinazotosha kuzuia yeye kupata nafasi aliyonayo? Umesema mwenyewe receiving country nao wanafanya vetting, so unadhani n Swiss hawajui hizo tuhuma? Unadhani ni kwanini wameignore na kumuaccept Hoyce?Actually, per the Vienna Convention on International Relations, the receiving state can even deny the appointed representative of the sending country without disclosing a reason. If Switzerland accepted Temu with open arms, I don’t see how their form of background check is the same as ours considering we had solid reasons not to appoint her.
My question is what kind of criteria was used for due diligence. Did both countries utilize the same criteria? Seems highly unlikely. Switzerland might have used different methods of checking the representative, and it doesn’t make any sense for “Switzerland”to perform a background check on the representative’s organizational awareness. As the sending country, it is our duty to ensure that our diplomat is BEST suited for the job. So, our vetting process should have confirmed that Temu possessed integrity.
