WB walikuwa wanazungumzia tu kuhusu extreme poverty. Yaani inawezekana Kenya iwe na uchumi strong sana kushinda Zimbabwe na pia iwe na extreme poverty kubwa kushinda Zimbabwe. Kwa mfano Zimbabwe pengine watu huko hata masikini wa kutupwa wana uhakika wa kula, kwa hivyo umasikini wao sio mbaya vile. South Africa is a better example, SA ndio the most developed country in Africa na pia ndio country yenye the most unequal wealth distribution in the world. Pale SA utakuta dollar billionares na millionaires wengi ajabu na pia mamilioni ya watu masikini wa kutupwa ndani ya nchi moja. Watu ambao nawaita dollar zeronnaires yaani watu ambao wana zero dollars mfukoni.

Just because kuna masikini wengi SA haimaanishi kwamba uchumi wa SA ni weak. Extreme poverty ni kitu kipo hata marekani japo kwa kiwango kidogo sana. WB walikuwa wanazungumzia kuhusu extreme poverty ambapo inaonekana huko Zimbabwe sio tatizo kubwa, hio haimaanishi kwamba Zimbabwe wana gdp per capita kubwa kushinda Kenya.

Two sectors that stick out are the following.
1. The Agricultural sector had negative growth in 2021 because of poor rainfall in 2021.

2. Accomodation and Food services sector grew by 52% in 2021 because of the rebound in the tourism market. Tourism sector was affected in 2020 because of covid 19 but the sector recovered in 2021.

Basically 7.5% growth is the second highest gdp growth in Kenya's history. The only year when Kenya's economy grew faster was 2010 when Kenya's economy grew at around 8%.

While this guys from the south keep focusing on non essentials like our slums which are reducing forgetting even India a very strong economy has very bad slums or their ever unending projects our economy will slowly grow bigger and bigger bythetime they come to fully open their eyes to reality we will be one major economy to recon with.
