Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

You can't take me to task to explain why a certain company is making loses in Kenya. While Shoprite is making losses, why are other supermarket chains making profits and taking over spaces that the likes of Shoprite is leaving behind
Hahahaha hii nyingine

Do you remember the reasons StanChart gave for limiting their services in Tanzania? They mentioned market size and room for growth. If it's true they failed to penetrate then it's because your market isn't big enough just like StanChart said in their statement. That's why all their services remain intact in bigger markets like Kenya and Nigeria
Hiyo ni excuse tu buda, kuna services local banks na microfinances zimeimplement in such a way that mgeni itabidi utake very high risk kuiga.

Tuonyeshe any supermarket amabayo imefungwa Kenya ikakosa kua replaced immediately. Majority of you munabuy vitu kwa very small retail stores. A clear indication of economy ya kadogo.

Stop looking at everything through the lenses of race. We know your economy is held hostage by Arabs and Indians and we ain't yapping about it

Most Tanzanians prefer banking with local banks? Well, this could be true I can't object but can you give me the number of customers your leading bank has we compare with Equity for instance? Equity Bank has a customer base of 15 million people and a market capitalization of $2b. Does the customer base of CRDB even reach 4 million people now that most Tanzanians prefer banking with local banks?
Shida yako unataka kulazimisha namna mnavyofanya biashara kenya na sisi tufanye the same swala ambalo haliwezekani, hili swala lilitokea hata kwenye swala la Safaricom na Vodacom ambapo sisi competition ni kubwa kati ya vodacom, airtel, tigo na halotell.
Vilevile kwenye financial sector kuna banks ndogondogo na microfinance nyingi sana, kuna hadi banks za mashirika mbalimbali mfano Mkombozi Bank for Roman Catholic, Maendeleo for Lutheran, n.k. amabapo haya mashirika yana institutions nyingi sana health, academic, n.k. Mwaka 2022 TZ ina 62 banks ilhali Kenya zipo 42.

Tulijiita WABONGO for a reason

Kijana wa Tandale, I know it pains you so much to learn that we have a bigger and robust market for businesses than you have down there. What befell Nakumatt is more or less what befell Tuskys. Pure mismanagement. In the case of Tuskys, the brothers who were managing the business engaged in fist fights and endless court dramas between themselves that eventually led to its collapse. They put their own interests ahead of the interests of the business

To emphasise my point on our market stability, all the stores that Tuskys evacuated have since been taken over by Naivas and Quickmart.

Hii haingefanyika if we had a weaker retail market
