These are just scapegoats. If it's true that ATCL started over as a new entity as you claim, then it didn't have to carry the burdens of its "predecessor" ATC. How do you carry a burden that's not rightfully yours? Ndio maana nikasema hapo juu kwamba what happened was just a name change. ATC just changed its name to ATCL and this is a normal thing in the corporate world. It happens a lot especially if a company wants to revamp itself.

The fact is, ATC was founded in 1977 before changing its name to ATCL a few years ago. ATCL is NOT a new company

Too much competition on the retail matket in TZ coupled with low market penetration by Stan Chart imepelekea hiyo decision most Tanzanians prefer banking with local banks though.

Most Tanzanians prefer banking with local banks? Well, this could be true I can't object but can you give me the number of customers your leading bank has we compare with Equity for instance? Equity Bank has a customer base of 15 million people and a market capitalization of $2b. Does the customer base of CRDB even reach 4 million people now that most Tanzanians prefer banking with local banks?
