Currency ya Kenya ni managed sio free floating hence iko overvalued by more than 30% Hii huwasaidia wakenya kulipa foreign loans cheaply lakini inaweka Kenya economy kwenye shaky grounds siku ikija ku drop it will be a major drop significantly affecting the economy. On the sidelines the Government is trying to overvalue the GDP so as to create a space for more borrowing while loan to GDP ratio is almost 100% the fall of Ksh to its true value will start when the ability to borrow more has been curtailed

first, the value of all world currencies are regulated and supervised by worldBank and IMF, hence no space for a country to dictate the value of its currency if not thru trade and other commercial factors that would otherwise make it stronger. secondly, a gdp of a country is ranked by WorldBank, IMF, CIA and UN. hence a country has got no control to dictate the size of its economy!
look at it in this angle; if that was the case, zimbabwe wouln't have accepted to print Z$20,000,000Notes!.. but it was due to hyper-inflation under a keen watch by Worldbank!
