Congo is a political war. There's no political goodwill to fight the rebels since the rebels have some information regarding the army. You can't win a war with someone who knows you inside out.

As for Tanzania, they are not even in top 20 strongest armies in Africa.

Read my previous post.. second hand or not, the US will always make sure we are the region super power …I will even tell you a secret few people know… China one time came to your country and built a very long military runway somewhere in central Tanzania… it’s still there… I think Kenya panicked ( probably thinking you were about to acquire some Sukhois)… in response, the US Navy Seabees Engineering group was dispatched to Kenya and built similar runway in Wajir ( true story)… it’s still there and now since you never got sukhois , the US use it for drone operations inside Somalia…
