Yes! Here is a video of Eastleigh. All those are upcoming highrise apartments. This is Eastleigh alone and in nearly every estate in Nairobi, more and more apartments are coming up. Therefore, more buildings collapse in Nairobi since there are more buildings in Nairobi than Dar. How will Dar buildings to collapse yet they are not highrise buildings?

Hata a very straight forward explanation huelewi? Engineers are not consulted since the client wants to cut budgets. Fundis have been doing this work for ages and they are cheaper therefore client sees no need of consulting an engineer while a fundi "knows" these things.
Our Fundis are better than yours then as most of them have gone to VETA (Vocational Education) plus there are regulatory mechanisms where by buildings permits are granted after all the drawings meet the criteria for permit allocation.
I think now you can see the difference between our education systems.

Since your fundis are better and they are busy building than our fundis, show me anywhere in Dar where there is such construction.

1. Kama huoni startups then blame it on yourself for lack of knowledge.
2. Hayo madaraja yenu yamejengwa na foreign engineers. Hiyo SGR yenu imejengwa na foreign engineers. Sasa impact ya masomo yenu iko wapi?
3. Saa zingine nyie huwa mnaongea kama wapuuzi sana. The difference between Kenyan education ni kwamba your pre-university happens in high school, our pre-university happens in university. Form 5 Form 6 kama ndio kitu inakufanya uone masomo yenu yako juu then uko na shida ya kiakili. Our education system for engineering was 8-4-5 - meaning 8 years primary, 4 years high school and 5 years university. Yours is 7-6-4. Thats a total of 17 years in both cases. Remember hiyo system ya 7-4-6 tulikuwa nayo tukaitoa. Nyie hamjawai kuwa na 8-4-5. All in all, the number of years in school doesn't determine the quality of education. It is the final product. Hivi between Kenya na Tanzania ni nchi gani ime-export more professionals than nyingine? Are you aware your tallest building was designed by a Kenyan? Are you aware your parliament building was designed by a Kenyan?
4. Issue ya majengo kuanguka, there are two explanations to it. the first one is the fact that Dar es Salaam which has mostly quatzite soils has a much higher soil bearing pressure than Nairobi which has red soil to the west and black cotton the East. Secondly, Developing countries normally have two sections - a well regulated section and a section of unregulated construction where most of the average people live (what you guys call Uswazi). Nairobi's version of Úswazi' is mostly highrise buildings. Dar's uswazi is single level buildings. Do you expect such buildings to collapse? Show me a collapsed commercial building in Nairobi. Despite that, very few buildings in Nairobi actually collapse - it's only your obsession that fusses over it like flies on stool.

Look at this photo where the average Darlite lives. Look at the uncontrolled construction. Now tell me if those were all highrises like these in Nairobi, imagine how many collapses you'd have in a year.

Lastly but not least. Kama masomo yenu ni bora kuliko yetu mbona Watanzania wengi wanaojiweza wanakuja kusomea Kenya yet Wakenya hawaji kusomea Tanzania?
Simply put: Most people in Nairobi live in highrise apartments hence there has to be chances of a building collapsing. Most people in Dar live in stand alone buildings and there are no many highrise apartments like in Nairobi. Hence, highrise buildings collapse in Nairobi because they are THERE and they do not collapse in Dar because they are NOT THERE. Wajenge kwanza alafu we can now compare the two tuone wapi buildings zinaanguka sana. Sasa mnasema buildings do not collapse in Dar yet they are not there. Mnasema you have better engineers than us yet mnajenga only stand alone buildings. In Nairobi, 15+ floor buildings are everywhere. So who are the best engineers?

You've been sharing this thing from 2017 for over 6 years now. Tuleteeni the same research for other years tuone.

Wameshindwa kuleta any ongoing or completed project in Dar. Yet they are here yapping. I'm still waiting mtuonyeshe your real estate assets, completed and under construction.

Before 2020, there was a ban that restricted buildings in Nairobi to only 4 floors (Zone four areas). No one was allowed to build a building higher than four floors unless in certain zones (CBD, and environs). That ban was lifted in December 2020 and people could now build 20+ floor buildings in residential areas. That is what led to the construction boom in Nairobi. Now, show us you real estate projects alafu nikuzime na Eastleigh pekee yake, wacha ata Nairobi
