Don't run away from reality, kila kitu kiko wazi.., what magic or miracle will u conjure to lift majority Tanzanians out of extreme poverty.., especially multi-dimension poverty that now is catalyzed by fast population growth yenye haiyambatani na GDP growth na delivery of social services to meet their needs.., hapa pengine GDP yenu ifikie ya Nigeria lakini population yunu ibakie chini ya 100 million.., ina maana ceteris paribus (all factors remaining constant) ufukra utabakia wimbo kwa miaka mingi.., more of uswazi standard housing and living will be with you for long..,
You can even read the today's OPED in your Citizen newspaper.., food for thought.

The trickiest part about Tanzanian city statistics is that the numbers are simply agglomerations, without considering city limits, urban, or metropolitan area. They just tell you that Dar’s population is 5 million! Okay, what percentage of the population resides within the city limits? What about the urban area of Dar? And the metropolitan area? Kenya has done a great job. There’s a clear distinction and the numbers are highly reasonable when you look at how they’ve published their statistics.

infact the case is vice-versa...
since tanganyika is a 'Communist State' its us the capitalists who we could be learning frm them (socialists) how to build Highrise Residential Flats, like the way russians and chinese do it, since they are all ujamaa states.
nb: building single units, eats resources, hence a waste of time, space and money in doing inventory, access roads, waste management, sewerage, electrification, waterpiping, and wht have u

a concept like this in eldoret for instance, does better interms of resource utilization ×10fold👇🏽 View attachment 2404348View attachment 2404353View attachment 2404349
What we need is mid-rise residential flats, not those horrifying, ugly structures built in Russia and China. If you know anything urbanism, you’ll realize that there are many negative social impacts with such a style.

Sprawl urbanism in North America isn’t good either. And that is the kind of style we’re following in Tanzania – detached single family units, which are also gated. The only style I like is European. Urbanist building style. Tree lined streets with mid-rise apartments or town houses. Everything is close by within a walking distance and a sense of community and livelihood is great.

Why are they complaining about the spire? Don’t they know that standard skyscraper height measurements consider pinnacle height?
I am wondering. Even Burj Khalifas top floor is at 605 metres, it is then topped by a 223 metre tall antenna and a 1.8 metre tip which when all are added make up the final height of 829.8 metres.
Ingekua height inapimwa kulingana na hizi taga za jamii forums, Burj Khalifa would be the 3rd tallest building in the world because its top floor is at 602 metres. There are 2 more buildings in the world taller than 602 metres. In China and Malaysia.

Its the same case with Britam Tower, its top floor is at 120 metres followed by an 80 metre antenna. Both add up to the final height of 200 metres
