i agree with you 101%, i have a somali friend who happen to have lived in cape town, till xenophobia caught up with him back in 2012. he told me renting a house is a total mess in capetown, and tht one may be working for a whole month just for the seek of house rent, and without saving anythng at all.! it may even subject one to hypertension and heartattack he told me its at par with Berlin,Germany
as in, real estate in capetown is infact the most 3xpensive in africa if not in the world, and u'll rarely find black people in decent housing estates there.
as you've just explained above, tht phenomena has made black pple subject to khayelitsha, which has spurred its growth to become among the biggest slums in africa!
