On the contrary, Nairobi is known for people always in a hurry... Ask anyone in Kenya. Sio kama mombasa kila kitu ni taratibu hakuna haraka. Someone can't sit for more than 5 minutes without being attended to, as a matter of fact, you are welcomed into the restaurant, shown to your seat, given a menu, as the waiter (mostly waitresses) stands by to take your order.
Then there are of course fast food restaurants all over which of course is self service.
So basically Nairobians rush, from traffic (matatu) to walking (along the streets) to restaurants, etc... That's part of Nairobi culture
