I was in Perth Australia, when the driver (of the public bus) stops the bus at any stage, every passenger getting out of the bus would say thank you to the driver. When I asked why, they told me that you atleast need to thank the driver because he/she has taken you safely to your destination.

You beg someone to sell you something so u have to pay. If you beg for an offer, it's obvious you don't have to pay!


Oh oh oh! the cops are polite too! for instance, a traffic police officer is likely to tell you, Naomba nikague gari lako/ nikague leseni yako!
