Hiyo ni definition ya kimasikini, matajiri huwa wanamaana tofauti wanaposema asset. Kwao gari ni asset pale tuu inapokuingizia pesa (mf daladala, taxi, rental n.k). kama haikuingizi pesa inakuwa liability kwasababu utaigharimia bima, mafuta, usajili na matengenezo... wakati thamani yake ikishuka.

Exception ipo pale tuu unapoitunza kama classic car, ambapo thamani yake huongezeka kila mwaka kutokana na rarity yake.

Matajiri huwa wananunua jets ili kununua muda wa kufanya biashara kubwa haraka na hivyo kuzifanya jets hizo kuwa asset.

i always tell them tht, kenya being the larger economy, will always dorminate in every other front. but they'll never buy my words.... and especially The best 007 and joto la jiwe.
they should knw tht the gdp per capita is directly proportional to the well being of citizens of a given country across the world. that said, kenya is more than double their per capita... ie. whatever a tanzanian has.. a kenyan has more than ×2 tht.. be it the size of house or even the no. of bottles of beer on the table, at any given tyme..
so wht will u expect.? a tanzanian to be richer...!? their's no miracles here... its pure logic

If I'd a choice to choose one definition of an asset, from a fat potbelly middle aged accountant who can't rub two nickles together and a billionaire, I'd choose the latter. Seven days a week and twice on Sundays.
