Where did I say that they are leaving the Tanzanian market? It's well stated that they are exiting their business and consumer banking services in Tanzania to focus on corporate banking. Swali ni je, why didn't they do the same for Kenya? Mbona hawakukatiza hizo services zao Kenya pia?

As per StanChart's evaluation, Tanzania is a small market and this is why they said they want to focus on bigger and robust markets. We don't have to lead in Tanzania where banks are closing some of their operations. We are in Tanzania to do business, just like any other banks. A bank like Equity is already making a lot of money in Kenya than all your leading banks combined

Stop twisting this thing bongolala just because nimekushika sehemu nyeti na hupumui. You said that these private companies don't benefit common mwananchi. Now that I have debunked your myth, sasa umerudi with a different storyline just so that you remain relevant. Kwani common mwamanchi ni nani kilaza? Is a person working at Naivas not a common mwananchi? What about that person who cultivates veggies or fruits and supplies to Naivas? Is he/she not a common mwananchi?

About priorities, you are just taking me back to my earlier statement that these are privately owned businesses and have nothing to do with government services or mitigative measures that should be in place. Kuna mahali ulisikia Naivas inamilikiwa na serikali? Ama unajaribu kusema kwamba mmiliki wa Naivas au Quickmart awache kufanya biashara because a section of Kenyans are going through hard economic times? There are 28 million Tanzanians living in abject poverty as I type this. Has this stopped Bakhresa, an Arab, from doing his businesses and milking you dry?
