Let me make it simple for you, the front part facing the ocean is far from the African standards let alone world i.e Durban, Luanda. Alot of land reclamation needs to happen and strict buildings to be observe or else Dar will lack the charm of a coastal city.Perhaps the pictures weren’t very clear. Also, you cannot compare roads between different cities! There’s a difference in geography in case you didn’t take that fact into account.
But, since you are obsessing over “beach roads” there’s a four lane road currently under construction along the Indian Ocean to connect it to Coco beach via the new Selander Bridge.
