Unamuonea bule huyo kipa benchi lako ndo shida ilipo

Ndio maana hakubadili mfumo

Aliamin gor zitarudi tu, aliendelea kufunguka tu bila kujari

Jana haikuwa siku nzuri kwa wana Liverpool HALISI
Lkn tusikate tamaa na tusimtukane Adrian sababu akifungwa tumefungwa wote!
Wana Liverpool HALISI tuzidi shikamana

Hahaha wapo busy kuuza Shaqir, Wilson, Grujic hayo ya jana wala wanaona ni zile having a bad day in the office Hahaha...

Klopp hapangiwi tazama baada ya kuambiwa na master Keane defence yetu ilikua sloppy vs Gunners alivyokuja juu ila sasa jana anakumbali ooh Keane alisema sloppy mbali jana we were bad..

Na haya jana wamesha ya document vya kutosha kwa kifupi we have been sitting on a time bomb na jana was the D day...

AN OPEN LETTER TO JURGEN KLOPP

Dear Jurgen

Am one of the many die-hard LFC fans across the planet. Please do not regard this open letter as a knee-jerk reaction to anything that has happened in isolation - rather it's aimed at us putting our thoughts together in addressing certain very critical fundamentals.

First and foremost, I wish to express my most heartfelt gratitude to you personally for the positive transformations you have engineered and impacted unto our team, culminating into a haul of major trophies within 4 years of your Anfield tenure.

Your achievements hitherto at the club, without a shadow of the doubt, have put you at the apex of the Anfield folkrole amongst other greats like William Shankly, Robert Paisley & Kenneth Dalglish. Am 100% certain the bulk of LFC followers and fans in the world will happily subscribe to this confession from me.

Thank you, Jurgen.

Secondly, let me switch this conversation to the reason why I have decided to write this open letter to you.
And am doing so mindful of the fact that you are one of the best listeners I have ever known. It dates back to your early days at Anfield when on top of your own insights on the way you had envisaged transforming the club's fortunes on the pitch, you didn't ignore the various inputs from the LFC fraternity around the world. You took these additional thoughts onboard, pondered over them and came up with a lasting cure to the multi-decade maladies that our club had been suffering from.

We had a fantastic end to each of the 2019 & 2020 seasons when we lifted the UCL & EPL trophies respectively. Over this period, we have been the proudest bunch of people, walking everywhere with our heads raised the highest.....until last night of course, I must quickly add!

The 7-2 humiliation we suffered at the hands of lowly Aston Villa last night is very painful to take for us fans and will remain so for a very very long time, and the only way we can at least banish it off our memory is if we end up retaining the EPL crown come May 2021. Let me tell you this fact, Jurgen..... we, LFC fans, are not used to being on the wrong side of such a horrendous scoreline, so you must understand where we are coming from with our current bitterness.

Let me point it out to you that somehow I saw it coming way before our last game vs Villa. In our opening game vs Leeds a couple of weeks ago, we saw many signs of our team not being at the level that we are used to seeing them. Sloppiness, lack of concentration, arrogance - you name it.

Our present team's playing style is littered with a cocktail of issues. I will group these problems into 3 categories - namely personnel, tactical and mentality.

1. Personnel:

It is a fact that the current crop of players have been playing consistently and relentlessly for the past 3 consecutive seasons. This, as would be expected, must have taken a toll on some if not all of them. It's therefore safe to say we need a pair of fresh legs in each of the key positions at least...

CBs: 1 x Koulibaly-esque. Let's find one, and fast!

CM: 1 x creative & ever-fit player. We have recently recruited Thiago but some of us have reservations still if he really fits the bill longterm

AM: a "10" to equip us with a variety in our attacking armour. Let's find one.

Uptop: 1 x Traore-esque. We have recently recruited Jota - it remains to be seen if he'll fit that bill

2. Tactical

During the successful spells between 2018 & 2020, we used to see you apply a mix of tactical set up in our team's playing formations.

Highline defending was one of the key tactic you applied but it was largely against teams playing with a lowblock (which were quite many including Mourinho's ManU!).

Meanwhile, you had your trust fully thrusted unto Virgil van Dyke's nous - and rightly so - in organising the backline which made it extremely difficult for any opposing team's forwardline to easily penetrate. Within a game and between games, our defensive tactic would effectively swing alongside the 4-3-3 (90%) & 4-2-3-1 (>5%) formations; and occasionally 3-2- 2-3 & 5-2-3 formations (these last 2 were quite a rarity and very few onlookers could have noticed but am sure these were applied, intentionally or otherwise - but it used to work! ).

Since towards the end of last season after it was confirmed we had won the EPL, this versatility in our playing formation appears to be conspicuous in its absence. Our team has been playing uni-dimensionally without regard to the questions being asked of us by the opposing teams whilst on the pitch. No tactical flexibility, no nothing. Rigid.

You must be aware (am sure you are) that the opposing teams have now realised that they can get at us if they attack us, capitalizing on the lack of versatility in our tactics. It appears that teams have found out that it doesn't help them playing us with a lowbock because we have a solution for that....so now they are attacking us ferociously and they are succeeding - while we don't seem to have an answer for that.

Please Jurgen, let's fix this thing. And pronto!

3. Mentality

(a) Old habits coming back:

Our players seem to be reverting to those old unwanted habits of choosing what game to give their all.
If you review how our team recently played vs the mighty Chelsea & Arsenal, you will notice there's a stark deviation in terms of intensity, application & commitment from how we played vs the supposedly lowly Leeds & Villa. This type of attitude is the reason why we were not fairing well on the pitch under your tutelage between 2015 - 2017.... this must be curbed immediately before it gets worse!

(b) Virgil van Dyke:
He's my most favourite player in the whole world by a mile.
However, there's something I have started noticing about him of late. He has stopped being a leader at the back, he appears to be too much relaxed and there's an air of negative arrogance in him.
You being his mentor, am pretty sure you have observed the same although I know you will never say it in public.
He is your boy, Jurgen.... so please have a word with him and get him back on track!

Lastly, let me take this opportunity to wish you and your players a successful season - which is at least retaining the EPL championship. I want to believe, like the rest of LFC supporters in the world I suppose, that the results vs Villa is a one-off nightmare, and I will add "AMEN" to this.

I know you know we know you are a winner, and we know you know we adore you for that. Let's stick together and win this one more time - TOGETHER!

Best regards,

Liverpool vs Villa, our player ratings
Adrian 3

On a weekend of goalkeeping calamities in the Premier League, Alisson's stand-in would have been odds-on to join in and he duly obliged with a fourth minute howler.

Trent-Alexander-Arnold 4

Jack Grealish asked him some tricky questions in defence and he did not always have the answers

Joe Gomez 4

Squared up by Ollie Watkins for his second goal and exposed by Villa's timing of their runs, he endured an evening of shadow chasing.

Virgil van Dijk 5

One of a handful of first teamers to double up after featuring in the Carabao Cup in midweek, the Dutchman wasn't at his sharpest.

Andy Robertson 6

Energetic and industrious down the left, he combined well with Diogo Jota and tested Emiliano Martinez with a stinging shot just before half time.

Naby Keita 4

Some neat touches on the ball but part of a midfield over-run at times by Villa's breaks and replaced at the break.

Fabinho 4

Showed his versatility in defence earlier in the season but back in his familiar midfield holding role, the Brazilian did not provide he cover his defence would have wanted.

Georginio Wijnaldum 5

Helped create Mo Salah's first half goal with an astute pass and the pick of a poor Liverpool engine room.

Roberto Firmino 6

Should have put away a one on one chance with Martinez in the first half but caused Villa problems with his intelligent link play

Mo Salah 8

Another to double up, the Egyptian produced deadly finishes either side of half time but had to hand the limelight to Villa's hat-trick hero Ollie Watkins.

Diogo Jota 5

The £41m signing from Wolves was handed his first Premier League start by Jurgen Klopp in the absence of Sadio Mane and showed up OK considering.
