Antony Rudiger on Willian Chelsea Exit
Rudiger has admitted it will be ‘sad’ if the Brazilian winger leaves Stamford Bridge.
He said: “Since day one of coming to Chelsea, he and David Luiz got me into the team and helped me out in the first couple of months because it was not that easy.
“He is a great guy and a really, really good footballer. He is calm and humble and it will be sad if I don’t see him again as a teammate. He is not the type of player who talks that much.
“He does his thing on the pitch, just like Eden Hazard. By playing, he shows what he is about.
“He is a guy who dictates the game and not many players in the world have this type of quality.
“He is always training [hard] and practising free-kicks after. He is someone who always wants to improve.”

Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia in 'advanced talks' over Ben Chilwell alternative
The Leicester full-back may prove too expensive for the Blues and they are lining up other options in case a deal for the England international isn't possible
Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon is reportedly in advanced talks to sign forChelsea as their chief executive Marina Granovskaia looks to put the finishing touches to the move.
The Blues are known to be in the market for a left-back, and initially identified Leicesterstar Ben Chilwell as their No.1 target following his impressive displays for the Foxes.
Chilwell, who has won 11 caps for England, scored three goals and created three assists for Leicester in the 2019-20 campaign to help them to a fifth placed finish in the Premier League.
However, it is believed Chelsea would have to pay Leicester more than the £80mManchester United spent on Harry Maguire last summer, and thus a move may not be possible.

Arsenal's season in 2020/21 with Willian
Despite Willian having a decent campaign, Arsenal had a Premier League season to forget in 2020/21, as Arteta's side finished in sixth place in the league table, behind Tottenham Hotspur.
They also under-performed in the cup competitions, going out at the last 16 stage of the Europa League and the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.
According to our Football Manager 2020 simulation, as we've seen in previous simulations featuring the likes of Coutinho and Grealish, the arrival of Willian alone wouldn't be enough to make the Gunners top four challengers, let alone title challengers. But, Willian would be a good signing according to this simulation, even if it is rather short-term signing, with him being 31 years old.
As always, this is just a bit of fun, but it's interesting to see what kind of impact Willian could have at the Emirates Stadium next season if the club did manage to secure his signature.
