Satellites do not write names of places on images they capture. Their work is just to capture images. Anything written on an image captured by satellite is done so by people just like you and me. The International Space Station is located thousands of kilometers away from Dar and those who work there do not even know there exists a place called Mwananyamala in Dar or Umoja in Nairobi. The names of places found on Google earth are written by people like you and me, not google earth! Someone may decide to write that Donholm in Nairobi is a slum and everybody who views it will believe so. Google doesn't even have a satellite of its own!
