I have said a million times kwamba wewe ni mtu anayependa sifa za kijinga sana. Kuishi kwako NY inahusiana aje na watu wa JF? Kijana, this is a very simple post that doesn't need all that ranting about where you've been to, nobody is interested in knowing that. So imefika mahali watu sasa wanatangaza nchi wamewahi ishi!! Back to your whining about that post above. New York City is not a very big city in size (it is actually smaller than Dar). So do you expect everybody (8 million people) to live strictly within the boundaries of New York City considering its smaller area? There are many New Yorkers who live outside the boundaries of the city BUT still within the state (the state of New York). Wewe kama ulibahatika ukaenda US and made Harlem your home living in a dark apartment block ukisukuma maisha pole sana

My suggestion is, Ikulu ikihamia Dodoma, naomba Mungu wabadilishe hilo jengo kuwa either museum au city hall. Halafu golf course pembeni iwe city park, barabara ya Barack Obama drive miaka ijayo iendelee halafu iunganishwe na undersea tunnel ifike hadi kigamboni badala ya daraja. Kwasababu eneo la hapo kivukoni halitapitiwa na daraja, wanaweza kuweka kivutio kwenye waterfront kama Ferris wheel ambapo tutapata views za Kigamboni International financial district 😍 😍 na baadae, wanaweza kufanya waterfront development kisutu, kama kujenga shops, bars, restaurants, public spaces etc. Dar will be superb! we just need moneyyyyyyyyyy.

Wewe na wenzio humu si ndio unapondaga wabongo kuwa hawajawahi kutoka manzese na tandale?! Sasa inakuwaje mtu akisema kakaa New York ni issue?! Ukisema kitu ambacho sio kweli kuhusu London, New York au Dar utajibiwa kuwa hivyo sio kweli na utapewa facts kwasababu anaekupa facts anakazia kwa kukwambia kakaa huko ujue anachoongea kakiona au kukiishi. "Upstate New York" Sasa kama unajua watu wanaweza ishi upstate New York and not necessarily within the confines of New York City boundaries mbona inanisusumbua na maneno? Take the case of Nairobi for example. The city has outstretched its boundaries to include the neighbouring counties forming one big metropolis. The biggest mall in east Africa, Two Rivers, is actually in Kiambu county which is part of Nairobi metropolis. A small section of JKIA land is in machakos county. I can give you so many such examples. So a person who lives within the peripheries of New York city (what you've called Upsate above) still considers himself a New Yorker. As far as I know it, Upstate is part of New York Metropolitan area

There are always costs! if you leave a big building like that empty all year while you use money to light it up, pay people to clean it up, water the gardens around it, and pay security to keep it safe then you might just as well turn the building into an income generating source. You know what's even better? it will still remain as a prominent landmark! fair enough?

It can act as a state lodge instead of change of use. In kenya, there are state lodges in Mombasa and kisumu
