The length of Kenyan roads has been revised downward by ten thousand kilometres as the country embarks on an effort to increase and improve its existing network.
The findings have put pressure of the Kenya Roads Board to come up with new plans of raising money to finance road construction in the country.
Failure to invest in new roads and the maintenance of existing roads has been a major undoing for Kenya, with costs associated with poor roads, like vehicle breakdown, contributing immensely to the cost of doing business.
