They are projections based on 2021 PPP, it might even be worse than those projections. The last time I checked, Kenya has a higher GDP PPP than bongoslum.

GDP is a calculation of how much is generated in a country without factoring who earns more or which sectors contributed the most, its not by accident those slums exists
