No amount of protest or vandalism allows the police, the upholders of the rule of law, to go shooting people in their homes.
Protests are dealt with tear gas and water cannons and sprays and finally rubber bullets. Those guilty of vandalism are taken through the judicial system for misdemeanors (not treason), unless you don't have a country.

You may be naive and innocent to know how these organizations work, yet we still have to sleep with one eye open.Amnesty International is not a Kenyan NGO. It is a global NGO headquartered in London. I don't see how Amnesty supporting Tanzanian activists is Kenya's problem.
We do have problems with mtandao, every Tanzanian knows this, the problem is, why do these human rights organizations from London are so concerned about our internal issues? If London truly cares about us, why don't they provide reparations for the harms of colonization?Furthermore, the core issue here is the sham election and human rights violations. Blaming the activists is missing the point. Global NGOs will fund dissidents in any country that violates human rights and rigs elections. Africa in particular is undergoing a revolution and we are going to see more of these unrests in countries that have tradionally not been known to have political unrests - even the docile Cameroonians this time were up in arms. Are you going to blame Kenya for that too?
