TZ supported Palestine for HUMANITY issues. Just like it did to Western Sahara, South Africa and 98% of SADC nations.

No troops from Mozambique, Angola, Ethiopia, Zambia. No support from UK/USA. In case hujui, in 1965 all diplomatic relations with Britain were severed by Tanzania, and re-established in July 1968, just a year before the war.

In fact your weak army received help from as far as china and Russia. China particularly provided weaponry like fighter jets, training and advisors during your war with Uganda. This strengthened your weak army against Uganda's army that was starved by the US arms embargo.

While Russia did not support Tanzania directly with troops like China did, it however, did take some actions that hindered Ugandan army while benefiting your weak army. For instance, they withdrew their military advisors to Uganda while also stopped arms shipments to Kampala thus significantly weakening Uganda's position in the war.
