Construction of the Modern Industrial Park in Mlandizi, Coast Region, began in September 2021 and is expected to cost TZS 3.5 trillion (USD 1.4 billion)

The park covers 1,077 acres, divided into 210 plots, allocated as follows:
🏭 202 plots for industries
⚡ 2 plots for power substations (54MW & 400MW)
🏬 2 plots for business zones
🏥 3 plots for social services
🚛 1 plot for a dry port


As of March 2025, completed infrastructure includes:
🏢 Administration building
🏛️ One-Stop Centre for government agencies
🚒 Fire station
🏥 Health centre
🧱 9 km boundary wall


5 factories are currently under construction:
🧪 Sulphur and Minerals – Sulphur pesticides & agricultural inputs
🛢️ Tan Smart Lyf – Lubricants for vehicles & machinery
🥫 Nadeem – Food processing
🏗️ Mohamed Maaz Abdul – General industrial products
🔌 TanTurk – Generator assembly
Additionally, 11 investors have signed contracts and will commence construction after completing payment formalities.

Once operational, the park will create:
👷‍♀️ 30,000 direct jobs
👥 200,000 indirect jobs
And become a regional hub for manufacturing and logistics.

Kama unataka kuwaona hao watu umeambiwa nenda Tanga,Bagamoyo,Lindi, .
Sio Kila mnachofanya nyie na sisi tufanye.
Tanzania hata ukiambiwa uulize kuhusu Wasukuma idadi yao huijui, kwasababu hatuhesabu sensa ya kabila bali ya wananchi kiujumla.
