In Tanzania, appartments are not common. Its just a new thing for foregners and Airbnb.

In TZ we have no such a culture of residing in apartments, especially with a familiy.

Who told you that Upper Hill, Lavington, Kileleshwa, Kilimani, South B and South C are posh estates? 😂😂😂😂 Those are middle-income areas and have apartments just like the rest of Nairobi. Posh estates za Nairobi ni Runda, Karen, Muthaiga, Kyuna, Lower Kabete, Rosslyn, Kitisuru and Gigiri. Hayo maeneo you'll never find apartments hata kidogo.
