for a very long time now, about 25yrs now. kenya has been known to have somewht dirty and chaotic tribal politics, sometimes marred with post election violence like the case of 2007.
please just note tht all these were brought about by only ONE☝🏽 man, who seems to have bad omen🦉
and that's no other than Raila Amolo Odinga!, he is the main cause of political instability in this nation.
now tht his political carrier is over, sasa kenya tumepumzika.. expect kenya to be among the most peaceful countries in africa forever! and without any tribalism!
i still remember 1994, during moi's regime, kenya was dubbed as among the most peaceful countries in the continent!
we shall be returning there in due course, now tht Raila is not in the picture.
future defeated presidential candidates will be conceding defeat unlike odinga. their will be no need for filing petitions at supreme court.

Another biased analysis.., 2007 they stole his election, and Ruto was in the fore front fighting for him, we all watched how things played out, besides 2007/2008 PEV found me in Eldoret, I know what Kalenjins did of which Raila was not party to, he did not instruct their actions, I was there, witnessed the heinous acts carried out. I interacted with my Kale friends and learned of the propaganda they were led to believe by some of their elders, it was a dark moment, wacha zako bana, Raila won in 2007 dopchinski, people were angry at what Kibaki regime and mount Kenya mafia did, the violence in most areas was a reaction.
In the previous years and subsequent ones Raila and other like minds were fighting for democracy from the autocratic leadership ya Moi, who didn't tolerate dissent views, hence violence was experienced due to the excessive force Moi's regime used on those agitating for democracy. Moi the one u praise for peace even eliminated Dr. Robert Ouko through his 'hand' Nicolas Kipyator Biwott.
In 1994, and previous years Kenya had a false peace, like it is with Tanzania ya leo, Moi was revered and feared, ukicheza unapotea without a trace. My father worked closely with Nicolas Biwott, the total man dropped my dad home severally, so am talking from what I know. You are merely vilifying Raila without facts just because u don't like him or u didn't support him, maybe it might be u don't like Luos, I never know and I am not a Luo either. Kindly study the political history of Kenya keenly, from Jomo kenyatta's regime, of course with a pinch of salt, coz u wont like what u will discover, instead of peddling rumors na hearsays.

For Raila, my opinion, his undoing and that of his father is in dishonoring authority, the reason presidency eluded them, Odinga senior disrespected Jomo in Kisumu by even stoning him, Kenyatta was furious, he didn't speak well of Jaramogi, then Raila Odinga disorganized a Ford Kenya meeting which was being chaired by his father, Jaramogi alikasirika deadly and here is where people believe Raila's curse came from.

Hope we are going to get real peace, sio ile false ya wakati wa dictator Moi, a peace which was instilled by fear. I believe ni systems zenye we as a country tume establish over time, is what has led us to where we are today not Ruto. Ruto rode on multiparty democracy which with majimbo system was fought for by Raila Odinga as much as u want to vilify him. Give respect where it is due.
