Bongolala, media houses were tallying forms 34A as they appear on the portal na ndio walikuwa wakionyesha matokeo zake kwenye runinga. By the time they stopped showing results, 99% of all forms 34A were already uploaded on the portal and tallied.

Kinachofanyika sasa ni verification of forms 34B by the IEBC. This is not the work of the media. Verification is strictly done by the IEBC and these forms (34B) are not uploaded on the portal. They are physically delivered to the commission by all the 290 Returning Officers for verification to ensure that it tallies with the figures captured in forms 34A as announced at the constituency level.

Once this is done, the commission announces provisional results of what each candidate scored per constituency.

At the moment, the commission has already verified results in 43 constituencies and announced provisional results as follows
