WHO is the one which gives directives on how to manage all diseases, those scientific researche results must be reviewed and accepted by WHO first, and need some inputs before they can be allowed to be used in clinical applications, there are very many things which need to be considered before making use of those research results. In nutshell those research findings are more academic than clinical.

Mpaka Sasa bado diastolic ndiyo inapewa umuhimu zaidi, lakini zote mbili ni muhimu kulingana na umri wa mtu, 140/90 ni cut point kwa watu chini ya miaka 60
