it's a 'local passenger only' rail.. as in, electricity driven locomotive is too weak to ferry multi tonne cargo.

an electric locomotive cannot carry very heavy cargo because it relies purely on electric motors to make it move. and you knw whts inside a motor is coiled wires tht rotates by virtue of a magnetic field!.. hence their is a magnet in every motion tht will be driven by electricity.....

Anytime we make this transformation, we tend to lose some energy into other forms. Electric motors convert electrical energy directly into mechanical with little energy loss, which classifies it (electrical energy) as high quality energy.

A high quality energy source is the one that can easily be transferred into other forms with little loss.

In contrary, diesel engines have a slew of processes to go through to form some mechanical movements to the wheels. Firstly, chemical energy (diesel) is converted into heat (energy is lost due to heat dissipation) to form potential energy (piston moving up and down). This movement of pistons creates a lot of friction (energy is lost due to friction, heat dissipation and vibration).

At this point we haven't gotten to the wheels yet.

Pistons then move the crankshaft (friction) which goes through some gear mechanism (friction) and lastly that energy is transferred to the wheels. At that point the efficiency is already lost by 70%.
now to my point!
can you realy rely on the strength 💪 of a basic magnet to carry heavy tonnage!?.. the answer will be definitely NO. but for carrying passengers.. yes.
Traction motors (induction motors) don't use "basic magnet" (perhaps you meant to say permanent magnet), they constantly "create" magnetism when alternating current is applied.

What do you mean by strength?
that's why you find all earth moving equipments eg. bulldozers run on diesel. all heavy goods tracks on transit run on diesel, all cranes and folklifts at a seaport also rely on fossils, and so is the heavy cargo train locomotive..

It's because we can stored some chemical energy (fuel) in a small container that fits into the equipment. With electrical powered equipment we'll need a large amount of batteries, powerful enough to run those machines for some times, at the moment its impractical. Electric trains don't have that problem as they move in a straight line along the power source.

A better term would be magnetic flux.

your electric train whatever, duly relies on the 'Permanent Magnet!',
and infact all 'Motors' relies on permanent magnets, and for which case it yields a weak 'magnetic flux' since its a natural constant magnet, as compared to the 'Electricaly Induced Magnetic Flux' that involve coiling an electric charged wire through an Iron Metal.! coz this type of magnets tend to yield untold quantities of Magnetic Field/Flux that is cable of lifting a whole car!🙀 infact this Induced Magnets are mostly used in lifting heavy scrap metals including damaged vehicles..

but that's not the case inside a 'Motor' where permanent magnet is needed to produce electricity itself, and not vice-versa.

coz me wht i knw is tht, only 10% of kisumu is considered as Slums.. tht is Nyalenda, Manyatta and a small section of Kondole estate, the rest is pure tranquil and leafy affluent homes..

upto 85% of the whole kisumu city is captured in this pics here👇🏽 but still cannot trace any form of slum..🤔
