Tony254 how do you defend this statement you made earlier on? If this is not cheating someone then how do we call it? If you were told to prove that World Bank has grudges with Tanzania will you prove it? And out of all the countries in the world, why should WB only have grudges with Tanzania?
You started by suggesting that World Bank just copies data from governments and I showed that they don't do that for poor countries and dictatorships. They use their own methods to make estimates. As for my statement, I will prove it to you. According to World Bank, between 2019 and 2020 it says that Tanzania grew by only 2%. Now do you believe that? Just be honest. Tanzania never went into lockdown during Covid-19 pandemic which started at the beginning of 2019 therefore Tanzania's economy grew normally without lockdowns. They may have received less tourists and exported a little bit less but essentially their economy was still running almost normally when ours was locked down and there is no way they grew at 2%. So how can World Bank estimate that Tanzania's economy grew by 2% between 2019 and 2020 if it is not bias?

The final thing I want to do is to prove to you that World Bank actually believes that Tanzania grew by 2% between 2019 and 2020. I am attaching a graph from World Bank's website and in that graph you can see that World Bank is estimating Tanzania's 2019 gdp figure at $61.14 billion and 2020 gdp figure at $62.41 billion. The difference is 62.41-61.14=$1.27 billion. World Bank is estimating that between 2019 and 2020 Tanzania added only $1.27 billion to its gdp? This $1.27 billion translates to 2% growth rate as follows: 1.27/61.14*100=2%. Wewe niambie Tanzania hawakuenda lockdown halafu waligrow at 2%, unaamini hio? I have used World Bank's figures sio zangu na unaweza kuzipata hapa kwa hii link ninaiweka hapa chini.

Uko sahihi. Tuwape muda tuone mpaka kufikia mwakani watakuwa wamefanya nini.

Tanzanian growth is usually pegged on export and in 2019 and 2020 they didn't export most of their products since most of the economies were closed down. Industries in Tanzania that dependent on materials from outside also slowed down. This is the main reason why their growth reduced to 2%. One example is delay in completion of their SGR and JNNP Dam, hao wenyewe walisema ati the delay was as a result of lockdown in other countries. So when WB said that Tanzania grew at 2% they didn't lie.

Why Kenya alone? Ndio maana nikauliza lakini sijapata jibu kutoka kwenu. Ni serikali gani ya Kenya iliyosaini Nile treaty?
Kenya never signed it as a sovereign state. The British government, acting on behalf of her colonies in the Nile River Basin, entered an agreement with Egypt in 1929. Subsequent treaties, the last one in 2015, did not involve Kenya or any of the EAC member states at that time.

What I have gathered is that over the years, disagreements have risen between Egypt and other countries within the Nile River Basin. In fact Egypt has in numerous occasions threatened to go to war with certain regional countries to protect what it believes is her "acquired rights."

Upstream states such as Kenya Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia have over the years maintained that they are not bound by the treaty because they were not parties to it. This explains why upon independence, Tanzania argued that the treaty placed her and other upstream countries at the mercy of Egypt, and that it forced them to subject their national projects to close scrutiny and supervision of the north African country. All the four countries are now in support of a more inclusive legal framework to govern the Nile River Basin, something that is long overdue in my opinion

Why then we use water from Lake victoria and pump it as far as Dodoma why cant you do the same? Or do you think we are not bound by the treaty?
Neither Tanzania nor Kenya signed it as sovereign states. The British colonial government signed it on their behalf during colonial times, something that Egypt still believes binds these countries to the treaty.

Where you live or lived is none of my concerns so don't get it twisted. The point is, you did not understand the content of that Tweet. If you did, you would have understood that the writer was only talking about Nyandarua, and not Mt. Kenya or mount anything for that matter! It's that simple.
