Bunge “lenu” lenye majority ya chama kimoja, right wing, ambacho constantly kimewaweka kwenye umasikini since it’s inception? Yes, I’m smarter and ethical than them! Just because laws were made in the past, it doesn’t mean people living today should continue carrying their burden. Times change, attitudes change, the level of knowledge changes too!

Hao boys under 18 years, Sheria inasema wapate Adhabu gani? And why would girls and boys receive different forms of punishment? Their sexual acts were consensual, weren’t they? There’s no manipulation or something of that sort. They both agreed to have sex. Again, I keep proving that I’m smarter than wabunge wenu. .

I bet religion is behind this law. No wonder it’s always a good idea to separate the church from the state

Technically, boys suffer more because they’re no longer allowed to return to school and they’re thrown in jail. What does jail do to these boys? If it’s for correctional purposes, they wouldn’t even need to be put in jail. There are other forms of correction. So, the main purpose is to make them suffer! Isn’t that Barbaric especially for the people who consider themselves “religious?”

Don’t fool yourself! We don’t have the same destiny or talents! Your journey is uniquely yours. Kwa standards za Marekani, an average middle class household is a millionaire in Tanzania. Imagine how big the middle class in America is.

The idea here isn’t to create more ultra high net worth individuals, but rather to close the wealth gap that exists!! Do you think individual efforts are enough to facilitate that?

So, your advice to the people who need to become rich is to quit their jobs and get onto the streets na “kupambana mtaani?”

Even in America, there’s an idea of making the rich pay to make life better for everyone. It’s not hate, it’s a way to make society more equitable. For instance, there’s a call to TAX THE RICH. Why? Because that tax money could be used to make life better for everyone else who isn’t a billionaire.

If I’m getting this right, you’re saying that CCM should sit down and do absolutely nothing and let you people figure out everything by yourselves? Kweli watanzania wanatumia asilimia moja ya akili zao. At least speak for yourself! I know so many people who are willing to receive support. If you don’t want it, that’s fine. But many others would want help.

Lamu, Turkana, Isiolo cities to cost Sh143bn: Lapsset​

Kenya needs at least Sh143 billion to set up the Lamu, Isiolo and Lake Turkana resort cities which are among the seven key infrastructure components of the Lamu Port South Sudan Ethiopia Transport (Lapsset) Corridor project.

A report by the Lapsset Corridor Development Authority (LCDA) shows Lamu resort city will be the largest costing Sh114 billion followed by Isiolo city at Sh24 billion.

Lake Turkana resort city will cost about Sh5 billion.

In Lamu, the resort city will incorporate a Special Economic Zone that will host heavy, light, and medium industries.

The special economic zone area will also provide warehousing, transport logistics, shipbuilding technology, and refinery among others.

The land needed for this particular development is about 2,000 acres with a power demand of approximately 60 megawatts.

Lapsset director general Stephen Ikua said their completion will open the Northern Kenya corridor to trade, tourism and industrialisation among other benefits. Once established, the cities will also improve the delivery of public services, including security as well as trade.

“The establishment of such key cities in Northern Kenya will generally transform the region into an industrial, technical, logistics, investment as well as a tourism hub. Market access to goods and livestock produced from the region will also be eased,” said Mr Ikua.

Lapsset is Eastern Africa’s largest and most ambitious infrastructure project bringing together Kenya, Ethiopia, and South Sudan.

The mega project consists of seven key projects starting with a new 32-berth port at Lamu (Kenya), Interregional Highways from Lamu to Isiolo, Isiolo to Juba (South Sudan), Isiolo to Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), and Lamu to Garsen (Kenya) and a crude oil pipeline from Lamu to Isiolo, Isiolo to Juba and Product Oil Pipeline from Lamu to Isiolo, Isiolo to Addis Ababa.

There will be interregional Standard Gauge Railway lines from Lamu to Isiolo, Isiolo to Juba, Isiolo to Addis Ababa and Nairobi to Isiolo.
