Tatizo lako ww huwa unapenda sn makuu kuliko uhalisia, Africa tunahitaji mambo mengi ya msingi kabla ya kufanya hayo unayosema ww mzee wa kususa.
Meanwhile our friends in Kenya are already doing what you say “shouldn’t be done now” because we have more important things to focus on. Never underestimate the power of technology.

Leo ndio nimejua wewe hamna kitu Kichwani.

Jibu la hilo swali ni simple tu: Kenya is a reliable surrogate state of western imperialists.
There goes my answer! It’s funny that among the countries with sufficient, reliable infrastructures that you’ve listed, Tanzania is not one of them. Meaning we’re certainly not in any position to compete with our neighbors in terms of attracting foreign investmens!

Not only is Kenya a business hub for many GLOBAL multinational companies in the region, it has also managed to keep attracting droves of foreign investors over the years. By the way, Foreign companies that operate in Kenya don’t just come from the imperialist west, there are lots more originating from other parts of the world, including China! For example, Xinhua News, a Chinese STATE-RUN news agency is building its Africa headquarters in Nairobi. Isn’t China a communist country? Wouldn’t we be better suited to host their headquarters based on the historical/political connection we have with China? I guess not!

Kenya hosting the largest BBC news house outside London and the largest Chinese news agency is proof that this issue has nothing to do with Cold War politics. Kenya is simply attracting foreign firms better than we do.

If we were in the position that Kenya is would you say that we’re “a reliable surrogate of western imperialists”? Do you think Tanzania would turn down foreign investments just because they come from the west? Isn’t the government DYING to attract such investments? Or do you want Tanzania to be a hub for multinational companies with origins from communist countries, Comrade? To provide Kenya some real competition? Nairobi, a reliable surrogate for western imperialists and Dar es salaam, a reliable surrogate for communists? You’re a goddam fool!

Tanzania needs to wake up. How do we attract foreign firms the way Kenya does?
Give us the figures of FDI for Kenya and Tanzania 2020/2021, Kenya is not even 50% of that of Tanzania, for the year 2021, USA alone invested $1.5B in Tanzania, Kenya only $353M, do your research before you post/ reply to anything

USA invested in mining which the revenue will be taken to US while in Kenya they have invested in IT which is going to benefit Kenya seriously. Have you ever wondered why out of $3B gold you export your government only received $40M ?
