Umepata wapi hizo 28 tonnes ilizo handle 2019 uje ulinganishe na za Tz.
Ni navyojua mimi lamu port mpaka sasa haijawahi handle hata 1kg.

Anyway, nashukuru kwamba umeelewa kwamba Lamu port will be handling 1.2 million teus na sio 1.2 million tonnes. Siku nyingine usiwahi tena kuilinganisha Mtwara port na Lamu port. Lamu port ina capacity ya kuhandle more cargo than all your ports combined. Lamu port itakuwa na capacity ya kuhandle 28.8 million tonnes while all Tanzania's ports in 2019 handled slightly less than 17 million tonnes of cargo.

The volume of cargo handled at the Mtwara port more than doubled in 2019/20 from 106.2 thousand tonnes to 273.5 thousand tonnes (+2.3%).

Lamu port pekee inafunika port zenu zote kwa capacity. Halafu Lamu port haijajengwa kwa miaka kumi. Construction ilianza December 2016. Wewe unatumia ile kigezo cha rais Kibaki kuzindua Lapsset in 2012 kama kigezo cha start date ya construction. 2012 kilichozinduliwa ni Lapsset corridor masterplan.
