Limited and aging transmission and distribution infrastructure, financing, opaque procurement processes, right of way disputes, and other challenges affect sector growth. Power Africa activities in Kenya are guided by a cooperation framework. The current Power Africa-Government of Kenya Cooperation Framework was signed in June 2018, to cover the 2018-2023 implementation period.

that's what you might think until you actually experience it. all the time I've used the highway and drove on the highway, there's never been a time I've had a problem except maybe when you're in too far to exit,but that is only when you're not keen to use the exit lane earlier and it only happens when you are new on the route.

Ujinga ya Uhuru! Instead of strengthen the existing institutions like Police air force to even offer comercial services, he is transfering the duties to KDF a soon to be a costly shortcut! At end of the day KDF who r damn corrupt n can't be questioned by the Parliament (a security matter) will be overwhelmed! Mimi siongei kuhusu transmission lines. Transmission lines ni rahisi kujenga. Mimi naongea kuhusu mradi wenyewe. Huo mradi wa Nyerere hydro itachukua miaka kumi kukamilika, that is, kwa bahati nzuri ikiwa haitakufa kifo cha mende.
Hata ikikamilika itagenerate 2,000 MW na total power generation itakuwa 3,500 MW. Huu mradi ni white elephant kwa sababu demand ya umeme TZ ni 1,500 MW sasa hivi na miaka miwili zijazo itakuwa pengine 1,700 MW. Sasa mradi huu utakapozinduliwa miaka miwili zijazo, TZ itakuwa inagenerate 3,500 MW ilhali nyie mtakuwa mnatumia 1,700 pekee na kupoteza 1,800 MW. Hio ni kutupa pesa. Nchi yenu haina viwanda vya kutosha ili kujustify kujenga hydropower kubwa hivyo. Mtavuja pesa sana. 80% ya hio power haitatumika.
