Started well, a neat touch and turn at the touchline was good skill. He won a couple of dangerous free kicks whenever he turned and run at them. Also guilty of giving the ball away in dangerous areas. Took his goal with aplomb. One thing he guarantees you is goals. His best performance in that position. Our highest goalscorer after the front three I believe. Crucial we have those goals from midfield, that's one area Klopp said we could improve in and surprise surprise, he was right again.

Absolutely sexy today. Just untouchable. First half he kept dropping deep to get on the ball and get us playing. Some came off, some didn't, as he inexplicably played a blind back pass straight to two Southampton players in our box. Three assists second half though. His awarenss of what's going on around him is unbelievable. Knew exactly where Ox and Hendo were and disguised the pass so well to give them a yard of time to shoot. Then the assist for the third just showcased everything about Bobby. A slightly heavy touch to take him away from goal, strength to bodycheck Bednarek and turn, then unselfishness to find Mo. This is a player who's not scored at Anfield all season and had already provided two assists by then. You would have forgiven him for going on his own but not Bobby. Should have scored though, thought he had gone round McCarthy and tried to slot but the keeper did well to block. Possibly MOTM.

Mohamed Salah could miss the start of the next Premier League season with a potential call-up to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

The coach of Egypt's U23s has made it clear he intends to include Salah as one of the team's three overage players.

If Salah was join the National team he would miss the preseason and start of the EPL.

But, Salah 2 goals, Bobby's hat-trick of assists, Ox goal, Alisson's top class shot-stopping, VVD+Gomez clean sheet, Faby back at his best, Trent long range passes, Gini resisting Soton press, Keita for last 10 minutes, Takumi too..hahaha

All of my favorite players got some minutes y'day hahahahahahaha!
