What is a LEGEND in Football? Is David Luiz a LEGEND?

In football, a legend is a great player who is admired and talked positively everywhere by fans.
To be a great player someone must grow over time into an important player in the team in terms of character, impact and success.

The first factor of character is a catalyst in the development of a player’s career into a legendry status

If a player has a bad character, poor decisions and then fans will talk him negatively and he will never develop into a legend.

A typical example of this is Nicolas Anelka, who undoubtedly has a tremendous amount of talent but his lack of loyalty towards any team, and his poor decisions throughout his career, remain the main reasons why he would never join the ranks of the greatest players.

David Luiz lack loyalty with Chelsea and with PSG and likely will be with Arsenal because of his character beside being a world class defender in his 2011-2014 debut at Chelsea. David Luiz betrayed his team by moving away under a very short notice

A very good example of recent legendry behavior is how Eden Hazard handled Chelsea exit in over 3 years from 2016 to 2019. He shown loyalty to Chelsea until the date of exit, but for David Luiz, just after signing a new contract of 2 years in June 2019 and then in Aug 2019 wanted to exit in a short notice of 24hrs, Legends don't do that, NEVER

• To be a legend one must stay in the same team to the level of optimizing his success to that team
• A legend is associated with a certain team
• A player cannot be a legend over several teams
• Switching between teams remove your tag of be a legend
