A few thoughts:


•Is it any wonder after one of the few passages of play where we managed to keep some possession? Fabregas to Costa, just like in the good ol' days of a few months ago. Although I think it might eventually get credited as own goal to Kyle Walker instead; Costa's shot didn't really look to be on target.
• Gary Cahill v. Harry Kane didn't turn out as tragically as I had predicted in my least confident moments, but the Spurs man was very much at the forefront of everyone's mind, especially when he pretended to be the second coming of Diego Maradona and dribbled half the Chelsea team.
•Pochettino's decision to leave Kyle Walker on despite apparent injury proved decisive. Spurs' right side was much more vulnerable in the second half, and was repeatedly exploited by both Hazard and Costa.
•Azpilicueta, hero mode with the head bandage.
•Will somebody please let Christian Eriksen out of Kurt Zouma's pocket?
•Inconsistent game from referee Anthony Taylor, but fortunately he was not faced with any immediately game-critical decisions.
•Great day for us, with City losing earlier in the day, too. Five points clear at the top of the league with a game-in-hand.
•CAREFREE, wherever we may be.
