Of course they are building it. The white man is doing a really good job. All the highways in Nairobi, the skyscrapers, the malls, the hospitals and everything happening in Nairobi now, 50 years after the end of colonial rule, is an effort of the white man. We really thank them for building Nairobi for us post-independence.

And I can see you are crushing our heads on the ground so much. Of course you have a bigger economy, of course your city is the most importand in the region, attracting FDIs than any other city in this region. your middle class is exploding in numbers and Nairobi is just wondering what the hell is happening to it. Dar has better and bigger roads and your airport is the busiest in the region. You also have one of the most robust stock exchanges in the continent right there in Dar. Your city is well planned and very organised. You are really crushing our heads but we blame ourselves for burrying our heads in the sand for so long only wondering why whites decided to "build" Dar at the expense of Nairobi. We actually envy you so much, that's why we even create threads like this one here

I have said a number of times that Tanzanians suffer from two big problems:
1. Inferiority complex
2.Self denial

They can't agree that they have deep running problems that need their collective efforts to eliminate. They also view the white man with high esteem, almost equating him to God. They think that everything good must just be done by the white man. That's why you see them screaming here all day "New York of Africa" in trying to make Dar look like a superior city to Nairobi

Tanzania can only blame themselves for not being at par with nairobi. Tz walikataa kukumbatia capitalism kitambo kama kenya na hivi sasa wanakataa mchina influence. On the other hand Kenya is adaptable to global changes and friendly to anyone with serious intrest in doing business. Matunda yake ni regional hub UNEP avic etc etc..
