The difference you are talking about is less than eight years. It's been 50 years since you gained your independence and by the time of writing that article, your middle class was just 12% of total population. What magic have you done in less than eight years that you couldn't do in 50 years to bring that number up? Kuja taratibu nani. Matusi will not elevate you to middle class. It's been 55 years since you became "free". You had nothing to do other than building your economy. We were busy helping other nations become independent like we were at the time.
