We live in interesting times.....i was in dar and couldn't even tell the nice places coz these guys live in squalor in unimaginable proportions. But by tanzanians standards i understand the hovels are called "dreamhouses"
.....their beaches also smell of sewage.....their neighbourhood's dont have any form of sewerage system.they only have septics....i work in a real estate firm and we toured to evaluate examples of failed cities in housing planning.
Going to Singapore to see the exact opposite of the most successful country in terms of providing decent housing.
Daresalaam is a dump.....but if you haven't travelled outside that grotesque horrible hot stinking city you can't understand
